This has been a thirty year project for me. Times of searching and times of doing very little. However, this project has always been a piece of me. The world has changed since Frank, Cheryl, and my father Ken, passed away as a result of the storm. When they left us the IBM PC had not yet been born. The internet, while functional, was used for science, military, emergency backup communications, there was no World Wide Wed (www). There was Veronica, Archie, Finger, FTP, and many more protocols, which are now a part of our web experience. No one had heard of Microsoft or Bill Gates, and besides, computers were only being developed to take away the jobs of the working man.
I have collected a lot of documents, newspaper articles, and photos, but not all. I will appreciate any contributions, in writing or photos, relating to this Storm of 78 or other related experience in north central BC. This web site will be available to all who want to know more about this time or tell their story. Proper credits will be given. I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you

While you are here, don't forget to check out another special website I wrote some time ago for my son, Brenden Lee, a very special little boy who passed away just before Christmas of 2003. Brenden Lee was Kenneth Scott Bateman's grandson. They have never met on earth but, I believe they are together now, full of love and laughter. Please have a look, there is lots of cool stuff and a Kidzone where it is safe for kids to play games or build their own dictionary.
